QIDO has the primary functions of:

• 1. Preparing and implementing marketing to promote Brisbane from Australia and Iran principal economic sectors and property developments potentials. A primary QIDO objective is to raise the Iranians awareness that Queensland is the leading economic state in Australia whilst simultaneously promoting Iran unique multicultural, heritage and environmental resource locations.
• 2. Attracting investment to Brisbane and Iran by providing quality “one stop shop” services and administration support for Iranian individuals and companies wanting to develop business in Brisbane and Australian companies wanting to invest and work in Iran.
• 3. Help to developing selected development rights assigned from Queensland Government and Iranian government.
